The team was purchased by LLC and will play its home games at the Dr Pepper Arena beginning withthe 2010-2011 basketball season. The team will not play duringbthe 2009-2010 season. Donnie Nelson, president of basketball operations andgeneral manager, will serve as principal ownerd and operator of the team. The ownership group also includes Evan chairmanof . The acquisition and subsequentr move to Frisco was officially announced by NBA Development Leaguse President Dan Reedon “We’re very excited to be in an area with deep fan suppory and a history of successful sportsw teams,” Reed said.
