The restaurant — named for countrty singer Toby Keith and his 2003hit “I Love This Bar” has signed a lease for 15,000 square feet at The Shoppes at West End, a lifestyle center schedulefd to open later this year at the intersection of Highwat 100 and Interstate 394 in St. Louiss Park. I Love This Bar Grill will featurefamily dining, an 85-foot bar shaperd like a guitar, a mechanicakl bull and a stage that will host live entertainmenft several nights a including a performance by Keith at the restaurant’ss grand opening.
The restaurant’s menu will feature Southern-style fare, such as chicken-fried steak and Some of the more unique offerings will includee fried bologna sandwichesand deep-fried Twinkies. It will featurre traditional sports-bar decor with a countrty flair. There will be lots of wood and plus more than 50plasma televisions. I Love This Bar Grill will host live entertainmenteveryu Thursday, Friday and Saturday night when it firsft opens, then ramp up to six nightsx a week over time. There will be seating for morethan 1,00 0 people. The venue also will have a retailp store selling TobyKeith merchandise, barbecue saucse and spices.
The restaurant will be owne by Arizona businessman Frank who recently opened an I Love This Bar Grill franchisein Mesa, Ariz. The chain also has locationsz inLas Vegas, Oklahoma City and Kansas City, Mo., and plansx to open a locatiobn in Auburn Hills, later this year. I Love This Bar Grill should be a majof entertainment attraction forWest End, helping set it apartg from other local malls, said Mark Fallon, vice president of real estatde at Cincinnati-based Jeffrey R.
